Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Press Under Pressure (the “App”), published for iOS and Android under package identifiers com.press.under.pressure.app and com.press.under.pressure.game, handles information.

The App is a one-button pressure puzzle. Gameplay, audio, translations, and levels ship with the App. Core features work without an account and without sending your personal information to our servers.

We do not collect personal information such as name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or payment details. The App does not provide user accounts or social profiles.

The following may be stored only on your device:

• Sound and haptics preferences
• Language preference (initialized from your device locale)
• Onboarding completion status
• Best round score and games-played count
• Whether the in-app store rating prompt has already been shown

We do not collect advertising IDs, analytics IDs, or crash reports in the current version of the App.

Local preferences and scores are used solely to:

• Remember your settings between sessions
• Show your best score on the home experience
• Choose a default interface language
• Decide when to ask for a store rating (at most once)

Because this data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us, we do not sell, rent, or share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Preferences and progress are saved with on-device storage (AsyncStorage). Uninstalling the App or clearing app data removes this information.

On Android, system backup features may include App data in a device backup if backup is enabled on your device. Those backups are controlled by your device / platform provider, not by a Press Under Pressure cloud service.

Depending on platform, the App may use:

• Internet — declared for platform compatibility; the App’s gameplay does not require a network connection
• Audio settings / vibration — for sound effects and optional haptic feedback (both can be toggled in settings)

The App does not request microphone recording, camera, contacts, location, or photo library access. Storage and recording permissions are blocked where applicable.

The current release does not integrate advertising networks, analytics SDKs, crash reporters, or remote configuration services.

The App may present the platform’s native in-app review dialog (Apple App Store / Google Play). Interaction with that dialog is handled by the operating system and store, subject to their privacy policies.

If we later add optional features such as ads or purchases, we will update this Privacy Policy before those features become active and describe any new data practices clearly.

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we do not operate accounts or server-side profiling, children can play without providing personal data to us. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a future feature, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App’s practices change. The “Effective” date at the top will be revised. Continued use of the App after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.

You can also clear App data or uninstall the App at any time to remove locally stored preferences and scores from your device.
