01Who we are
Jigsaw Solitaire: Cozy Cats (“the app”) is a cozy puzzle game for iOS and Android made by Schneider (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have. It applies only to the app, not to other websites or services that it links to.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't run our own analytics or tracking.
02What stays on your device
To remember your game, the app saves the following only in your device's storage. It is never sent to us.
- Puzzle progress, completed levels and chapters
- Your daily streak and hint balance
- The cats in your collection
- Settings such as sound, haptics and language
- Photo puzzles you create (see below)
We don't collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts or precise location. The app does not ask for location access.
03Your photos
When you choose to make a puzzle from a photo, the app reads only the photo you pick. It cuts the photo into pieces on your device and keeps a copy there so you can come back to your puzzle.
Your photos are never uploaded to us or to anyone else, and the app does not browse the rest of your photo library.
04Daily pictures
Each day has a new puzzle picture. The app downloads the pictures for the coming week from our image storage, hosted by Cloudflare, so you can play offline. Older pictures are removed from your device after about a week.
These downloads don't include anything about you or your game. Like any web request, your device's IP address and basic request details (such as time and app version) reach Cloudflare, which may keep them briefly in server logs for security and reliability.
05Advertising
The app is free and shows ads, for example a short video you can choose to watch for an extra hint. Ads are provided by Google AdMob.
To show and measure ads, and to prevent fraud, Google may collect:
- Your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android)
- IP address and the approximate location it implies
- Device and app information, such as model, operating system and language
- How you interact with ads, such as views and taps
Personalised ads and your consent
On iOS, the app asks your permission before your advertising identifier can be used for tracking. If you say no, you will still see ads, but they won't be personalised using that identifier.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time from the app's settings.

06In-app purchases
Optional purchases are handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see or store your payment card or billing details.
We use RevenueCat to confirm purchases and restore them on a new device. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID, your purchase receipt and basic device information. It does not receive your name or payment details.
07Service providers
These companies receive limited information to make the app work. Each one handles it under its own privacy policy.
| Provider | What for | Privacy policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Showing ads | policies.google.com |
| Cloudflare | Hosting daily pictures | cloudflare.com |
| RevenueCat | Confirming purchases | revenuecat.com |
| Apple / Google | App stores and payments | apple.com · google.com |
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or others.
08Children
The app is suitable for everyone but is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will help remove it.
09Your choices & rights
- Delete your game data: use Settings → Reset in the app, or uninstall the app. Purchases stay with your store account and can be restored.
- Limit ad tracking: on iOS, go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android, go to Settings → Privacy → Ads to reset or delete your Advertising ID.
- Change ad consent: use the privacy option in the app's settings.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to object to how it is used. Because we don't keep your game data on our servers, most of it is already in your hands. For information held by our providers, contact us and we will help, or reach the provider directly.
10Retention & security
Game data stays on your device until you reset the app or uninstall it. Downloaded daily pictures are removed after about a week. Our providers keep the information they receive for as long as their own policies describe.
All downloads use encrypted HTTPS connections. No method of storage or transfer is perfectly secure, but we keep what we handle to a minimum.
11Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app changes. We will post the new version on this page with a new “Last updated” date, and for important changes we will also let you know in the app.
